CONSTRUCTION AND ROAD CLOSURES

PLEASE BE AWARE of the following construction projects and road closures, which will affect road travel to Stratford this season.

Blue Water Bridge Construction
The U.S.-bound span (First Blue Water Bridge) will be closed to traffic for rehabilitation work beginning July 5, 2023. The work is expected to be finished by October 5, 2023. To minimize impact and disruption, the Canada-bound span (Second Blue Water Bridge) will become bi-directional and remain operational during construction.

While traffic is expected to be maintained during this construction, we advise you to allow additional time to get to Stratford for your visit. For more information, please visit the Blue Water Bridge Rehabilitation Project website.
